Meanwhile, Oppo announced the Find X8 series flagship will go on sale in India by 21st November. The variants in turn comprise two high-end devices—the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro—these being the first devices to arrive in the country running a new iteration of Oppo’s ColorOS interface.
Oppo Find X8
The Oppo Find X8 recently launched in China does provide some hints about the features that must make way into the Indian model. The Find X8 sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, which boasts of top-end brightness levels up to 4500 nits, records instant touch sampling of up to 2160Hz, supports Dolby Vision, and also packs in Oppo Crystal Shield protection. The powerhouse is MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9400 with an Immortalis-G925 GPU for serious graphics needs. On the memory side, this phone supports up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage for a seamless experience.
It’s topped off with a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor sporting OIS and 10-bit HDR, 50MP Samsung S5KJN5 ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 telephoto lens, which boasts up to 3x optical zoom and up to 120 times digital zoom. Selfies and video calls are taken care of by a 32MP Sony IMX615 front camera.

Oppo Find X8 Pro
The Oppo Find X8 Pro sets a new benchmark with the presence of a 6.8-inch micro-curved LTPO AMOLED display, identical to the Dimensity 9400 processor. Its camera setup remains unchanged but still houses that prominent 50MP Sony Lytia LYT808 first sensor and still reserves a very important 50MP Samsung S5KJN5 ultra-wide lens along with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 telephoto lens. Still, the Pro version comes with another 50MP Sony IMX858 6x telephoto lens that brings in up to 6x optical zoom and then up to 120x digital zoom. The front camera is still the same as the Find X8, but of course it’s the Sony IMX615 sensor on a 32MP sensor.
Both types of the phones come with ColorOS 15 on top of Android 15. Additional features include IP68/69 dust and water resistance, an IP68/69-based stereo speaker system, and even a Dolby Atmos-capable stereo speaker system. Moreover, added security in the form of the in-display infrared fingerprint sensor is present.
Both devices feature support for 80W SuperVOVO fast charging as well as for 50W wireless charging. X8 Pros feature a bigger 5500mAh battery, while Find X8 comes with a 5,630mAh one.
